A God-Sized Vision
by Collin Hansen & John Woodbridge | Book Summary
Author: Collin Hansen & John Woodbridge |
Rather than offering a detailed history of all major revivals throughout history, selected key movements and leaders including the Great Awakenings, the Welsh and Korean revivals, and the East Africa revivals illustrate God's work of grace to renew His people in times of spiritual need. Theological assessment and guidance help the reader to do more than read historical accounts. Questions are answered, including what different revival movements have in common and how readers today can better prepare for revival in our time. Revival, in its essence, means to bring back to life. It is the awakening of believers to the spiritual realities available in Christ. These movements are consistent with Scripture and offer hope for a world marked by brokenness and sin. |

Overview:
Revival. God has brought revival to His church throughout history to rekindle faith in Him and to reach the lost. Hearing the stories of past movements of God can help stir Christians to seek His face for revival and show us the mighty works of God in those who came before us.
