Author: Dr. Greg L. Bahnsen |
In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Col. 2:3). Presuppositional apologetics begins with Christ as the standard of truth. Refusing to turn over one square inch to unbelievers in the name of neutrality, Always Ready: Directions for Defending the Faith equips Christians to give Christ preeminence in the world of thought. Laying the groundwork for providing a reasoned defense, instructing us in the conditions for apologetic success, and addressing several criticisms commonly asserted by unbelievers, Always Ready provides thorough and valuable instruction in apologetics. |

Overview:
Christ calls us to love Him with all of our heart, soul, and mind (Mat. 22:37), and this directive extends to apologetics, that is, giving a reasoned defense for the hope that is within us (1 Pe. 3:15). Whether in response to ridicule and criticism from the unbeliever or through evangelism, Scripture avails the Christian the tools needed to honor Christ with our witness.
