New Jerusalem is the place where God will finally dwell with His people, a reality foreshadowed throughout the Bible. It is the place where God's sovereignty over creation will be perfectly established, and the war with the forces of darkness will ultimately be won. All of this is only possible because of the redemption accomplished by Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. The journey from Eden to New Jerusalem is the story of God rescuing His people so that He might dwell with them in a perfect world forever. |

Overview:
When reading a good story, understanding the end helps us to better understand the whole story. For this reason, if Christians are going to understand the story of Scripture, we need to understand the closing chapters of Revelation. Revelation 20-22 brings together many of the key themes in the Bible. It is a fulfillment of God's original blueprint for creation seen in Genesis 1-3.
