After receiving his PhD in sociology from Princeton University, Lindsay served on the sociology faculty at Rice University, was president of Gordon College, and currently serves as the president of Taylor University. Lindsay's previously written and critically acclaimed books Faith in the Halls of Power and View From the Top explore the subjects of leadership as well as the role that Evangelical Christians have played in recent American history.
Lindsay's knowledge in the field of sociology is further strengthened by his additional theological training and his Evangelical convictions. He received graduate theological degrees from Wycliffe Hall as well as Princeton Theological Seminary.
