Making Faith Magnetic
by Daniel Strange | Book Summary
Author: Daniel Strange |
Deep down, every human lives with tension. As truth suppressors (Rom. 1:18), we both know and do not know God. We have repressed the truth about Him and replaced Him with other things (Rom. 1:23). Our lives are haunted. The five 'magnetic points' are five fundamentals that all humans are looking for. We may look in different places in different ways, but all the things people look for are a result of people looking for Christ. With our eyes open to these magnetic points, we have hundreds of opportunities to ask why people do what they do and want what they want. Let's learn to spot the magnetic points and share with people how they connect to Christ, the ultimately magnetic person. |

Overview:
How can we connect our faith to the world we live in? It often feels that "our Christian faith is disconnected from the lives of those around us who don't know Jesus" (p. 11). Many of us long to share the good news of Christ. We know we need to, but how do we do that in a world that seems so far removed and so disinterested? The answer comes by recognizing that such disinterest and disconnection is only superficial.
