He has served as professor and chairman of pastoral studies at Western Evangelical Seminary, director of the Doctor of Ministry Program at Nazarene Theological Seminary, and executive director of the Christian Holiness Association.
He has an M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in psychology and religion from Drew University.
