Overview:
Christians know that we are called to evangelism, to communicating the whole gospel truthfully and lovingly, but evangelism is difficult. We live in a culture that is hostile to truth and praises the virtue of tolerance, so how can we be more faithful to our calling to tell the truth?
- We need to understand the biblical doctrine that is the foundation of the gospel message.
- We need to have a deep understanding of and passionate love for the gospel, the good news that sinners can come home to God through Jesus Christ.
- We need to understand that salvation is the result of God's sovereign grace alone and cannot be merited by us.
