The answer ringing forth from Hollywood, universities, the mainstream media, and vocal cultural elites is a resounding yes, men can become women and women can become men. In the midst of this hotly contested debate, Christians must think clearly and biblically, and Christians must have the courage to stand for the truth. "Transgender ideology may appear to be establishing a firm place in our culture, yet there are signs of defensiveness among its advocates, as if they realize their claims are contrary to basic, self-evident truths." (p. 7) No one knows how long this transgender craze will last, but Christians must be committed to compassionate truth-telling as long as there are challenges to the Word of God. |

(p. 1).
